Job Summary
Implement AzureCloud data warehouses, Azure and No-SQL databases and hybrid data scenarios
Design and architect end to end data lake using azure data services.
Workclosely with customer to understand the requirement and identify the right setof tools and build quick PoC to prove the solutions.
Manage source dataaccess security
Define data governance and security strategies.
Manage andenforce data policies and standards
Implement big data real-time processingand integration solutions
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
3+years of experience as a Data architect.
In-depth understanding of datamanagement (e. g. permissions, security, and monitoring).
Good understandingof Big Data concepts and tools like Spark, Python, Hadoop, Pig, Hive etc.
Extensive experience with Transact-SQL.
Good understanding of BI technologieslike PowerBI, Tableau and Cognos.
Understanding of Azure service and MLfunctions.
Experience with scripting languages such as R and Python.
Knowledge of software development best practices.
Excellent analytical andorganization skills.
Effective working in a team as well as workingindependently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Expertise indatabase development projects and ETL processes.
Experience in an agile SDLCenvironment.
Experience planning and implementing QA and testing, and datawarehousing.
Experienced in building and operationalizing large scaleenterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of Azure data andanalytics services in combination with custom solutions - Spark, Scala, AzureData Lake, HDInsights, DataBricks, SQL DW, DocumentDB, Data Factory, and SQLDatabase products or equivalent products from other cloud services providers
