The Job Title: Data Analyst Renewables

Location: Chennai, India

The Big Picture: Illumine Industries is seeking a highly skilled and motivated analyst to generate business insights through data, identify areas of opportunity, and drive results across the entire span of the business. The analyst will have a hands-on approach, support the development and validation of metrics and models, and produce easy to digest visual dashboards/reports for various business units. This is a high impact, high visibility role with the expectation to deliver immediate results.

What youll do:

1. Responsible for compiling, maintaining, analyzing and presenting data analysis to evaluate performance, strategies and provide visibility to required KPIs not limited too but including Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Client Management

2. Will be responsible for managing reports, including Dashboards for all Users.

3. Must read, analyze and interpret reports and documents, define problems, identify opportunities through data and collect data

4. Effectively present analysis and recommendations to department managers

5. Responsible for ongoing reporting of baseline KPIs and requests by multiple business units, and ensuring alignment of data presented

6. Responsible for providing data visually in a format digestible by a non-technical audience in the formats requested to identify opportunities, trend

7. Create ad-hoc reports, document process changes for measuring results and deliver reports and updates to dashboards as needed/request

8. Work with key stakeholders of marketing, sales, logistics, customer care and other business units to deliver requested data points

9. Convert insights into actions and/or changes to CCMs operating model

10. Develop cost-benefit / ROI analyses to support investment decisions

11. Work independently on several projects with minimal oversight

12. Deal with ambiguity and make independent decisions about problem solving approach

Must Haves:

1. Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or similar

2. 3+ years experience working with conduction business case evaluations (ROI, NPV, etc.)

3. Experience joining and manipulating data from multiple data sources

4. Experience working with DBAs / Data Engineers to develop ETL flows

5. Advanced capabilities with Tableau (automating reports, level of detail calcs, etc.)

6. Experience in Statistics (Linear Regression, Modeling, Forecasting, Design of Experiments)

7. Experience utilizing statistical software suites (JMP, Minitab, R or similar)

8. Ability to engage business stakeholders and scope projects / requirements

9. Ability to operate in a matrix work environment

10. Ability to structure problem solving using a hypothesis-driven approach

Great to Have:

1. Experience with SQL

2. Experience with applicable data tools (Tableau Prep, Alteryx, etc.)

3. Proven track record of analyzing and delivering data analysis for Sales & Marketing teams a plus

4. Strong mathematic and analytical skills, and proficient with Analytic Tools & Software
