Roles and Responsibilities
Understand Markets - Define target audience for the assigned brand. Set market research objectives, approve the methodology and location. Visit the research centres to get a first hand feel of consumer feedback. Review secondary reports (Nielsen Retail audit) regularly to cover consumer preferences and industry trend. Participate in competitive mapping by collection samples on market visits and consumer feedback. Develop / Revise the brand key. reflecting the understanding of consumer needs (met and unmet) and other market forces (Competition, Regulation etc.) in order to define a proposition for the assigned brand which makes them consumer relevant
Manage Brands - Monitor brand track scores and develop plans to meet desired scores. Arrive at the activity calendar with detailed brand/ month wise spends and sales estimation. For individual consumer promotions, define objectives, brainstorm internally and identify Key success Factors. Seek inputs from Sales, Technical and R&D. Finalize business plan and investment requirements. Seek approval from the Mancom. Coordinate the execution with Sales, Technical and R&D. Track investments vs. budgets in order to ensure that the assigned brands have a strategy that addresses relevant market segments and all developments and promotions are in line with the same
Other Responsibilities - Annual Budgeting (Sales Budgeting): Study and analyse market data in detail in order to arrive at Sales budget
Monthly Sales Forecast: Prepare activity plans for the month/ quarter in collaboration with the sales team for the sales forecast meet.
Review and Reporting: Prepare or review material/ presentations for Leadership team on a monthly basis
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate Should have Min of 3 to 5 years of experience in FMCG Companies.
Candidate should be preferably from Hyderabad Location only.
