Key Accountabilities:

• Liaising with and providing technical advice to design, marketing, purchasing and production staff
• Creating products in response to given briefs
• Amending designs where necessary
• Coordination with manufacturing plants to produce samples
• Evaluating, identifying, and selecting fabrics/products from suppliers
• Ensuring that products meet set requirements and specifications (e.g. colour, fastness, durability etc.)
• Ensuring that the products are tested for suitability and performance under various conditions
• Controlling production and quality standards
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of products as per customer requirements
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints
• Keeping up to date with trends and innovations
• Generate business MIS, as required.

Education

B. Tech/B. E/M. Tech (Textile)

Behavioural Competencies

• Proven work experience in Technical Apparels in the extreme cold climate clothing
• Past track record to have done business with the armed forces through tendering
• Relevant experience in Jacket Manufacturing, Dyeing and printing textiles will be preferred
• Should have capability of general products in knits and woven apparels
• Negotiation, Problem solving and multiple stakeholder management
