Key Responsibilities:

In the position of AWS Solutions Architect, you are responsible for the development and further development of AWS Cloud Frameworks for our customers. The AWS Solutions Architect is the central point of contact for the customer in all architectural issues and acts proactively to promote the further expansion of existing platforms and their automation.

These are your core tasks in this strategic-conceptual position:

  • Deliver high quality features, websites and applications into production environments that meet the required dates and business outcomes.
  • Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Work with the Product Owner and Development Team to coordinate the agile events (Iteration Planning, Daily Stand- ups, Reviews and Retrospectives).
  • Review customer requirements and plan and coordinate delivery activities.
  • Leading large cross- functional teams, ability to lead, motivate, influence, and drive to results in a highly- matrixed environment.
  • Perform resource allocation and workload assignment according to delivery requirements.
  • To drive the team to maximise the value they are creating through understanding the business success criteria and continuously monitoring and improving key metrics.
  • To support continuous improvement of the development and delivery practices and processes and ensure Sprint cycles include appropriate capacity for these improvement tasks.
  • Establishing relevant and comprehensive project performance related metrics covering Performance and Budgets. Monitoring and Initiating corrective action as required.
  • Identify potential project risks, implement appropriate courses of action to address project slippage and develop strategies to mitigate future risk.
  • To monitor and relentlessly manage quality at every phase of software development and service lifecycle.
  • Act as an agile coach guiding the team through agile practices such as story points estimation, iteration planning and continuous delivery.
  • Allow stakeholders to understand how the team works and helps them get the most out of their interactions with the team.
  • Report delivery status to customers and develop required delivery documentations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Ideal candidate should possess the aptitude to take up any task, investigate independently and come up with multiple solutions highlighting the pros and cons for each.
  • Need to have a healthy start-up attitude.
  • We are looking for candidates who have a solid understanding of concepts, best practices and have a good approach to learning and problem solving, with leadership abilities to shoulder the automation testing efforts of the Company.
  • 8 - 15 years IT Experience.
  • Qualification - BE and MBA (preferred).
  • Strong experience of leading end- to- end delivery management of technical changes in multi- discipline teams.
  • Strong experience in Agile led methodologies.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and lead a cohesive and self- reliant Agile development team.
  • Strong stakeholder management at all levels in an organisation.

Good to have

  • Experience in managing projects in Finance domain.
  • Delivering change on to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content management platforms.
  • Understanding devops techniques, automated testing and supporting the path to continuous delivery of production code.
  • Managing across different geographies and time zones.
  • Complex feature backlog management with competing priorities.
