About the projectWe want to build the best online training program to teach the German language. Our trainings are meant for beginners and the aim of this training is to equip students with basic language skills where they can confidently take part in easy, day-to-day conversations in German. This training will include video tutorials, text chapters, quizzes, and tests to help the students learn and practice their language reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. If you have ideas that can make learning German exciting and fun, were looking for you!What will you doWork with the content manager to develop the training content.Prepare a table of contents for the training.Provide well-written and formatted text chapters which will include explanations for all the different concepts covered in the table of contents.Create quizzes, assignments, project, tests, and their solutions.Provide learner support (i.e. doubt clearing) via the forum - usually, the SME will need to spend ~1 hour per day to answer enrolled students queries related to the subject that is asked in the Q&A forumRecord videos and voice-overs for the training with our team. Who are we looking for?Have considerable experience of teaching German (to college students or adults).Enjoy teaching. Someone who is a teacher by choice and not by chance. Who takes pride in knowing that as a teacher he/she can shape so many lives. Someone who knows that at the other end of the video there is going to be a student whose life will probably change after learning what you teach.Can devote at least 35-40 hours per week & be in-office with us at least for 2-3 days a week (~5 hours if not the whole day) for the next 6-12 months. This may change depending on the COVID situation in the upcoming months.Can visit the office for video shoot/voice over recording whenever required.Prior experience in online teaching would really help but is not mandatory.What do we offer in return?Great company.
