Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual Testing)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to focus on manual testing of our client's software products. The primary responsibility will be to ensure that the software meets both development and business requirements, while also providing a user-friendly experience.

The role involves conducting tests to validate new feature enhancements and performing regression testing for the overall application. The candidate should be comfortable making decisions independently and working effectively within a small, dynamic team where each contribution is valued.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria for new features and software enhancements.
  • Configure the test environment to execute necessary test cases.
  • Conduct review meetings to share test case statuses, discuss concerns and risk items, and ensure alignment with the team.
  • Define, execute, and analyze test cases, collaborating with the team to validate acceptance criteria.
  • Track defects and bugs using the client s defect tracking system, monitor resolution progress, and validate resolutions once completed.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including QA Managers and Scrum Masters, both verbally and in writing.
  • Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.
  • Prioritize tasks and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.

Manual Testing Deliverables

  • Test plans and test cases.
  • Comprehensive documentation and reporting of identified bugs.
  • Test data for various test cases.
  • Test scenarios and configurations.

Required Experience

  • Degree in Computer Software or related fields, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, including functional and regression testing.
  • Experience with Windows, iOS, and mobile apps testing.
  • Experience with cross-browser testing and responsiveness testing.
  • Familiarity with multiple operating systems such as Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle tools, such as Jira, DevOps Azure, and Zephyr (test case management).
  • Experience in user acceptance testing and user experience testing.
  • Experience with bug verification testing and tracking.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) practices is a plus.

Qualification :
Degree in Computer Software or related fields
