Job Summary
- Approach schools to collaborate on the project, and build and sustain the relationship.
- Facilitate sessions on issues affecting adolescent girls.
- Design writing modules based on the broader curriculum envisioned by IT for Change.
- Create digital and non-digital resources required for each module.
- Capture the learning and reflections from the project for dissemination on digital and non-digital platforms.
- Keep abreast with all technological innovations that can be used as part of the project.
- Plan logistics and strategies and work on scripting, ideation, etc.
- Be on the lookout for NGOs working with adolescent girls to identify collaboration opportunities.
- Liaison with officials from state education department.
- Research higher education options, vocational training institutes and livelihood options available for Kishoris.
- Conduct residential camps for Kishoris.
- Postgraduate degree in social work, sociology, women s studies, gender studies, or development studies. Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Written and oral proficiency in English and Kannada.
- Interest in working on gender-related and development issues.
- Experience in using technologies with ease and enthusiasm (however basic the skill level).
- Flexibility, ability to take ownership, work with minimum supervision and be a team player.
- Willingness to work based on the needs of the project.
- Candidates from marginalised groups, minority communities and women preferred.
