Position: Node.js Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a Node.js expert to join our development team and lead efforts in building and maintaining applications at the full-stack level. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative projects. The selected candidate will be required to sign a 3-year bond for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work extensively with Node.js, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL to develop and maintain web applications.
• Design and write custom SQL queries for back-end development.
• Design and manage the architecture of relational databases.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services using REST protocols.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git for collaborative development.
• Expertly use Node.js frameworks such as Express.js for backend development.
• Develop and optimize Node.js-based modules including the file system, HTTP module, and Events.
• Apply principles of functional and object-oriented programming.
• Utilize front-end tools like Webpack, Gulp, npm, and Babel to enhance the application.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 1-3 years of web application development, with at least 1+ years focused on Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and JS frameworks like lodash and moment.
• API-driven development: Experience working with remote data via SOAP, REST, and JSON.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, but any other databases will be considered.
• A deep understanding of RESTful services and experience in designing scalable, efficient APIs.
• Proficient in using front-end tools like Webpack, Gulp, npm, and Babel.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-3 years in web application development, with specific expertise in Node.js.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of back-end technologies, databases, and web services.
