Technical Lead - Ror Job in Lister Digital

• 7-10 years of proven experience on ROR
• Need to work on old version of Ruby (2.x) and Rails (2.x/3.x) and hence hands on experience in working on old version of Ruby and Rails is desired
• Excellent understanding and expertise of OOPS, Data Structure, Application Architecture, and Design Patterns
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly
• Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view
• Strong working knowledge with application development on ROR, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML, JS, Jquery etc.
• Knowledge and experience with jQuery and and any other advanced javascript like Nodejs
• Experience of working in an Agile environment with experience of using tools such as Jira
• Good knowledge of relational databases and should be strong on database access and manipulation with strong working knowledge of MySQL
• Good experience on using version control tools like GIT/SVN
• Good knowledge and ability to develop RESTful web services and consume third-party web services/APIs
• Good knowledge in continuous integration and deployment, - Deep functional understanding of the projects that he/she has worked on
• Good understanding on unit testing framework
• Hands on experience in Web servers like Apache

• Take ownership of the technical solutions from the design and architecture to development and unit testing
• Need to work on old version of Ruby (2.x) and Rails (2.x/3.x) , - Demonstrate delivery excellence by meeting timelines and quality, - Consistently show improvements in velocity of tasks consumed by the team
• Design and implement innovative solutions for our clients Write clean well-designed ROR code
• Hands-on capacity to write best possible code, develop database and guide teams to follow the base practices
• Handle Communications with clients and team members located in India and US and ensure smooth coordination and execution across the board
• Manage/Lead a nimble team of developers, QA
• Align to agile methods of execution that is followed in the customer ecosystem
• Should be good in team handling and mentoring
• Need to work on cross shift to enable proper sprints and hand-offs of assignments with the client

• Ensure any sensitive information of the project/organisation stays protected as per the guidelines of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and report any breach, vulnerability or threat to the respective Data Protection Officer (DPO) without delay.
• Ensure all data of the customer/organisation processed must be done on one of the following lawful bases: consent, contract, legal obligation, vital interests, public task or legitimate interests.
