Job Summary

Role Summary:

In todays virtual world, most of our customer touchpoints occur online. Increasingly business leaders are being asked to represent the company in online meetings and webinars, where informal comments can quickly turn into unexpected media headlines.
Thorough preparation and coordination is the best way to protect and enhance our company reputation
Delivering consistent, approved, strategic content for all channels, to support the LMWP content marketing strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

Website:
- Ongoing: content updates to corporate website
- Q3/Q4 2020: review of content within LM website transition project
Social Media:
- Ongoing: Publishing to LM Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube
- Ongoing: Monthly metrics on social media channels
- Ongoing: Digital comms alignment with REN, weekly meeting with Simon Langford
Marketing Communication:
Ongoing: Manage LMWPs external content marketing strategy
Ongoing: Write / create website and social media content
Ongoing: Manage / edit external website content from global network of content contributors (comms relays)
Ongoing: Work with Marketing to develop/review talking points and slides for external events (webinars, virtual tours, conferences, trade shows, etc.)
Media relations / issues management:
Ongoing: Respond to journalist inquiries, following REN approvals process
Ongoing: Develop and/or contribute to LMWP and REN press releases
Ongoing: Work with leadership and REN to develop standby statements for LMWP potential/current issues on the REN heatmap
Ongoing: Identify media opportunities for LMWP leaders, within content marketing strategy
Ongoing: Media monitoring (Meltwater News)

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 8 Years of experience in Digital Communications.

Desired Characteristics:

- Excellent storyteller and writer, to develop strategic content for LMWPs digital channels (social media, website, webinars, conference presentations, etc.)
- Demonstrates website and social media content creation and distribution skills (basic graphic development in Photoshop and/or InDesign, video editing, etc.)
- Able to write short, catchy text for social media posts in a conversational, first-person voice in fluent English
- Promote blade technology story in Onshore and Offshore
- A quick learner on a variety of digital platforms (particularly, building webpages and publishing to social media)
- Able to evaluate/improve content performance based on metrics
- Experience with SEO optimization and website/social media analytics is a plus
