Executive, Risk Surveillance - Data and Models

Joinourexpanding Data and Models teamwhere youllbring a passion fordeveloping, enhancingand optimisingsurveillance models and analyticsas you assist with developing our Global Surveillance Program.

As an Executive, youll work in the Data and Models team to assist with the development of a comprehensive Global Surveillance Program. This includes liaising with colleagues in the global risk surveillance teams to identify patterns and behaviours through coupling communications, trades and other data points using data science tools and techniques to deliver productive lines of investigation.

This is an exciting opportunity to expand your knowledge of machine learning and behavioural analytics. Youll bring an investigative mindset to incorporate the latest developments in surveillance regulation, technology and industry best practice into surveillance projects and initiatives. Essential to your success in this role will be your attention to detail, proficiency in classification techniques and data environments coupled with strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality.

Youll have a bachelors degree in statistics, engineering, mathematics, computer science or another relevant quantitative discipline, as well as 3-5 years of experience in data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Shiny; data analysis tools such as Alteryx; and scripting languages such as SQL, R, and Python. Youll be familiar with trading in financial markets and investment funds with a deep knowledge of their operation. A solid grasp of software and model development lifecycles and deployment will be considered favourably.
