I. Job Description Summary

  • The DMS (Advanced Analytics) team works with a wealth of consumer offline and online behavioral data used to generate insights and business solutions leveraging an array of analytics tools and techniques. This role requires understanding of current business environment and demonstrate excellent technical expertise in manipulating large data sets and create customer segmentations, predictive models

II. Essential Job Functions

  • Use advanced statistical techniques for complex data analysis. Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, developing analytical reports.
  • Helping business to take key decisions based on integrated analytics involving different datasets. Perform predictive data analysis, generate indications for focus areas highlighted by business requirements.
  • Gather enough business acumen to understand business objectives & dynamics. Proactively identify collaborative opportunities with BI, Analytics and Data science teams.
  • Working on Descriptive/Predictive/Prescriptive Analytical techniques. Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Regularly communicate with members of the US teams to gather business context and provide updates. Strong written and verbal communication is essential to collaborate with global team

III. Minimum Qualifications & Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor s/Master s degree and Formal training in Computer Sciences, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Analytics, (Quantitative fields a plus i.e. Statistics, Economics)

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of analytics experience across multiple data platforms and proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Mandatory working experience in Python, SQL.
  • Having knowledge of classification (Random Forest, SVM, Boosting and Bagging techniques), predictive modeling and clustering algorithms is desirable
  • SAS experience is a plus
  • Good presentation/story telling skills will be considered a plus. Knowledge of Visualization tools (Google data studio, Tableau) is also a plus.
  • Knowledge of the publishing industry and subscription-based business models
  • Working knowledge in Excel, Microsoft Office products.
  • Ideal candidate will be data-oriented, ultra-responsive, and demonstrate passion for data analysis in a robust, complex digital data environment.
