Job Description:
Backup:
Strong background (3 to 5 years) in backup technologies Veeam Backup & Replication.
Installation and configuration backup agents for Exchange, SQL, Oracle database in Veeam backup and Replication.
Configure LAN and SAN & NAS based backups using Veeam Backup
Configure Backup clients for Virtualization Software Like VMware, & Hyper etc.
Restoration of Window and Unix flat files, SQL DB, Exchange DB in Veeam Backup & Replication.
Strong background in backup/recovery solutions from Veeam Backup & Replication.
Installation and configuration of Veeam agent on physical server at windows, AIX, Linux.
Experience Backup management inclusive of administration, implementation, upgrades, troubleshooting, system management in Veaam backup tool.
Decommissioning clients which include perform full backup and deregister server from Veeam backup tool
Prepare daily backup report and health status of all backup clients.
Infrastructure focus on business continuity and continuous improvement
Provide Backup & storage infrastructure & deployment support, software management, system troubleshooting, performance engineering and optimization, and maintenance
Support delivery against the technology roadmap in the backup & storage space and work with other engineers on implementation and management of solutions
Support conceptual, logical, or physical storage designs with associated documentation (including strategies and standards)
Support the operation of the Business Continuity plan as it relates to ongoing processes around backup, recovery practices, media management, and long term retention procedures
Support Disaster Recovery planning and testing initiatives
Continually update understanding of business and technology status and objectives and respond to strategic design requests as the business evolves
Academic and professional qualifications:
Successful completion of a bachelor s degree or relevant technical experience
