Job Summary
Solar modules required to project size. Having contacts with Chinese suppliers and well versed with the module pricing including import duties, taxes, port clearance and logistics. Having purchased a good amount of steel (module mounting structures), DC/ AC cables, the person must have done hardcore procurement of metal including tracking of metal prices. Good at understanding the requirement and technical parameters/ specs of transformers, HT/ LT panels, switch gear, isolators and electrical equipment required for Solar project. Should have done sufficient procurement of these items for roof top-ground based small (kW) & large (MW) size projects. Should have good knowledge of prices/ zero based costing for civil. Electrical andB mechanical contracting jobs. Making and monitoring Contracts and contractual requirement in Solar Contracting is a must. Hard negotiator, with zest on completion of procurement work in line with project timeline is a must. A go-getter with complete knowledge of ERP system, producing note for approvals for Management with offers/ quotations/ recommendations on suppliers/ contractors. Project planning & execution experience would be highly appreciated Basic knowledge of electrical Battery Storage system with charging station configurations for catering to EV industry would be desirable.
