Job Summary YourTeamresponsibilities

MSCI Equity Data Management (EDM) team provides high quality and differentiated equity data for construction of MSCI s products such as Equity Indexes, Risk Models and ESG Ratings.

The VP - Transformation will drive several platform re-design and transformation programs to make Equity data operations scalable and future ready.

Your key responsibilities

  • Own the design and execution of projects in Equity data s Less Human in the Loop strategic roadmap
  • Collaborate with production leaders to envision the end-state of production process and define metrics to measure the success of the transformation project
  • Support design recommendations with data-driven analysis and build business cases to secure funding and resources
  • Collaborate with IT team and provide expertise while re-engineering existing platforms
  • Infuse AI/NLP and new age tools such as RPA, BOTs etc. to help improve scalability and efficiency of operations
  • Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms and combine models through ensemble modeling
  • Present information using data visualization techniques
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges

  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

  • Work closely with ED-Transformations to deliver on the committed roadmap and in shaping new transformation ideas

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Over 7-12 years of working experience, with at least 5-6 years experience in working on transformative initiatives
  • 3 -5 years of experience in developing and designing Analytical solutions and models
  • Proficient in PYTHON programming
  • Hands on experience in deploying machine learning models into production
  • Hands on experience in using visualization tools (Preferably Power BI)
  • Strong preference for transformation experience in BFSI domain
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) and proficiency in creating presentations.
  • An independent worker who can drive certain parts of the work with minimal oversight
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams
  • Ability to work and plan effectively with minimal direction in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, independent, results-oriented, and possesses a strong sense of ownership
  • Practical understanding and application of data science and machine learning techniques like: Linear & Logistic Regression, KNN, SVM, PCA, Random Forests, Markov Chains, Clustering (DBSCAN, K-means, etc.), Deep Learning (CNN, RNN, Autoencoders, Transformers, etc.)Proficiency with AWS or Azure cloud computing environments

  • Hands on experience with computational packages (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Sklearn, statsmodels, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, RASA etc.) and visualization tools

  • Text Analysis and Natural Language Processing (NLP) Exposure to chatbots or dialogue systems, machine translation, comprehension of text, text summarization
