Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical construction drawings, calculations, and specifications for Mechanical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards, codes, and customer requirements using computer-assisted engineering or design software/ tools.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.
- Direct or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.
- Design, implement, maintain, or improve plumbing instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems (HVAC) for commercial, industrial, or domestic (multi-family) purposes.
- Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment.
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications.
- Energy modeling experience (pref. US).
- Commonly used modeling software for ASHRAE 90.1 2010 includes but is not limited to the following: DOE-2- based modeling programs (eQuest, EnergyPro, VisualDOE), HAP, TRACE, VisualDOE, EnergyPro, EnergyGauge, and EnergyPlus.
Requirements:
- Experience: 4+ Years of experience
- Must know Equest, DesignBuilder, HAP, Tane Trace
- Must have worked on International projects (US preferred)
- Location: Pune, India
