Practice Lead

This person would be responsible to install / configure / remotely manage various software and hardware specializing in VIRTUALIZATION or ENTERPRISE STORAGE or DATA PROTECTION or SECURITY

Key attributes that we will look for in a Practice Lead in NewWave are:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate solution objectives, deployment milestones & outcomes in the area of Specialization. This includes good written and spoken English skills
• Should have proven hands-on experience in deploying, configuring & trouble-shooting in medium to large infrastructure environments.
• Must be proficient at Project execution and capable of independently drawing up Statements of Work, resource mobilization and end-to-end Solution deployment in the area of Specialization.
• Needs to be an eager & quick learner, capable of updating knowledge and skills to keep pace with the advances in technology.
• Should be willing to travel across India at short notice and stay near Customer sites for the duration of Projects.

The desirable Skill Profile of the Practice Lead :

The ideal candidate must already possess or be willing to acquire certified credentials on the following Specializations:

VIRTUALIZATION:

• VMware Server Virtualization VCP Certification (vSphere & vSOM)
• VMware Desktop Virtualization VDI Certification (Horizon & Airwatch)
• Citrix Mobility Technical Certification

ENTERPRISE STORAGE:

• EMC Storage Certification VNX / VNXe / Isilon
• IBM Technical Storage Certification V7000 / Enterprise or Mid-Range Technical
• DELL Storage Certification Compellant

DATA PROTECTION:

• EMC Data Domain Certification or EMC Networker Certification
• EMC Avamar Certification
• Backup Engineer Certification from HP / IBM / Symantec / CommVault

SECURITY:

• McAfee / Intel Security Technical Certification
• Cisco CCENT Security / CCNP Security / CCIE Security

Total Work Experience:6-7 years

Relevant Experience on area of Specialization: Min 3-4 years on area of Specialization

Primary Locations:Bangalore or Chennai (Should be willing to travel anywhere in India)
