Position description:
The Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) team is looking for a proactive key member who will have a key role in its development and maintenance. You will be part of a team that is developing and managing Nokia IT data-as-a-service platform. This is a hands-on technical role in a dynamic agile environment, working directly with developers, architects, test engineers, product management and internal customers.
Responsibilities:
Analyses technical requirements and translates them into implementable software designs and configurations.Leads multidisciplinary development projects, coordinating departmental or cross-functional teamsMonitors the projects from initiation through delivery, including planning, directing schedules and monitoring budget/spendingEnsures proper communication to relevant stakeholders for technical requests, emergency cases, outages and project delivery issuesCodes, develops, builds and proposes technical solutions utilizing existing or new technologies.Takes care of solution integration and provisioning.Inspects and verifies the quality of the Releases before deliveryProvides production support right after the move into productionTroubleshoots and resolves issues in existing solution
Required skills:
5+ years of experience as software developer/architectExperience in leading software development teamsExcellent knowledge of Azure Platform and experience in developing cloud applicationsExperience with Microsoft Azure data and analytics services, such as Azure Blob storage, Azure SQL DB/DW, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis ServiceExperience with data modeling
Desired skills:
Experience in designing and developing data & analytic applications is a plusExperience with SAP/BW development is a plusExcellent communication skills in written and verbal EnglishAbility to work in and with cross-functional distributed teams, including working across multiple time zones and providing remote supportBe an independent self-learner with the lets get this done approach
  • Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
  • Above 5 years of hands-on experience in software design/development and/or operations
  • Background in Development, Systems Architecture, and/or Operations.
  • Experience delivering applications in Azure.
  • Experience with configuration management tools
  • Experience with source control systems such as TFS and GIT.
  • Work experience deploying web and application services to Azure PaaS and IaaS.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of DNS, Monitoring, SSL Certificates, File Servers, Security, Performance, High Availability, Redundancy, and Disaster Recovery.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft OMS
  • Experience in Automated Deployments with Continuous Integration workflows.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Adaptable to changing environment

  • Experience on Python, PowerShell, Javascript is a plus
  • Experience with business intelligence application is a plus
  • Azure, Scrum certifications considered as a plus
  • Willing to learn new technology and open mind for sharing is a plus
  • Bachelor in computer science, Master Degree considered as a plus
