Job Title SDN Controller Test Engineer

Nokia's ION Division is recruiting highly motivated Software Developers & Test Engineers. Our Team is developing exciting new products that allows our customers to build and manage their networks.

Our products are built using various technologies, including:

Golang, Python

Web application frameworks (REACT)

Web technologies (HTML5, Javascript, REST)

Microservices (Kubernetes, Helm)

Linux

You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment testing applications that are best inclass network orchestration solutions. You will be exposed to the latest technologies in telecom specifically around Virtualization and SDN. The successful candidates responsibilities will include:

Testing of features and enhancements made in product to achieve customer highavailability network requirements, while reaching defined scale and performance targets.

Automating complete end-to-end feature testing and integrating the same in Regression Environment.

Working in a team-based Agile Environment; collaborate with Developers, and Product Management to refine requirements, develop, and test our Carrier grade solutions.

Interacting with Support Teams to provide software solutions to field-reported issues.

Keenly following and participating in standardization activities in this space.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Programming/Scripting experience in Python or any modern test automation language.

Web Automation experience in Selenium or any other similar technologies. Experience of testing and automating distributed scale-out backend systems and large web-scale systems Knowledge/experience in databases such as Mongo, Redis

Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g. GNMI).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, both written and verbal

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment ADDITIONAL ASSETS

Experience with microservices architecture

Knowledge/experience with Kubernetes

Knowledge in IP networking, familiar with networking concepts and routing protocols (ie BGP, IP, VPN, VLAN)

Job Role : Software Development Engineer Platforms and Systems

As a key member of the ION SRPG team, you will be designingplatforms and systems software for the 7210 line of products.

Desired Skills/Requirements :

• At least 2-3 years experience as a Software Developer.
• Strong C/C++ programming experience. In depth knowledge of various data structures and algorithms.
• Strong system programming and OS fundamentals.
• Knowledge of BSP or Bringup code. Experience is a plus.
• Exposure to peripherals like I2C, PCIe, USB. Experience in writing drivers for any device is a plus.
• Knowledge of ARM or MIPS processor is a plus.
