Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION: - We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and manage the accounting functions of our trading business. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial management, preferably with experience in trading or distribution companies.

- Maintain and monitor the general ledger and prepare financial statements.

- Handle all day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets.

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

- Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliations.

- Finalize accounts and coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other compliances.

- Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance and training.

- Liaise with banks, vendors, and internal departments to streamline financial operations.

- Analyze financial data to assist management in strategic planning.
