Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience.

DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Ruby or Python, we'd like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.

Responsibilities

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code for deploying and managing infrastructure
• Design and implement automated build/deployment pipelines
• Configuration and secrets management
• Set up and manage instrumentation for application performance monitoring
• Develop ways to improve application performance and reduce cost by right-sizing infrastructure
• Manage continuous integration/continuous deployment strategies
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members on devops operations and best practices
• Document various deployment processes

Requirements

• A passion to efficiently support always-available applications
• Hands on experience on tools such as Github, JIRA, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Ansible, Elastic stack, Codecommit, code pipeline
• Architect solution knowledge of Cloud, preferably AWS
• Experience of provisioning, configuring and working with AWS and configuring CI/CD pipeline in AWS stack
• Strong experience in scripting languages: Perl, Python or Powershell
• Sound DevOps architecture knowledge related to Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions & Platform Automation
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, YAML Templates
• Experience with automation/configuration management (Ansible/puppet)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and Container Orchestration tools.
• Experience with application logging / tracing / performance monitoring
• Experience with automation/configuration management
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Experience with Linux infrastructures
• Experience with monitoring tools like Graphite and Prometheus
• Experience with a testing framework
• Experience using Git
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proficient with scripting languages
• Sound DevOps architecture knowledge related to Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions & Platform Automation on variety of technology choices - SaaS, CoTS, PaaS, etc.
