Assistant Manager - R&D (IP)
Location : Mumbai

Core Responsibilities:

To develop, formulate and test the PIL range of Solvent based , water based contact adhesive used in Footwear and OEM industry
To improve competitiveness of PIL product portfolio by developing technical value proposition
To customize existing formulations as per market/customer requirements by ensuring product deliverables are accurate and have strong customer connect or insights
To focus on new product development and applications and then commercialization within timelines assigned for project
To support /service continuous improvement via inputs into raw material selection and simple process modifications
Should be able to collaborate with different research groups
Oversight of plant and field trials to assist successful product launch
Ensuring the documentation of day to day work, interim / project reports on time
Responsible to implement and maintain product and laboratory safety practices
Ensure effective implementation of Major initiative and periodic tacking its progress
Basic knowledge on Microsoft words , Excel , Power point presentation etc

Candidate Profile:

Candidate must have a Post Graduate Degree in Polymer Science / Chemistry / Plastics / Technology with at least 5 to 6 years in R&D
Formulation work on adhesive preferred

Skills Required :

Candidate must have a Post Graduate Degree in Polymer Science/Chemistry /Technology with at least 5 to 8 yrs of experience
