Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Has a broad understanding of the code without working on it themselves
  • Facilitates a culture of well-tested code across the team
  • Leads their team towards a shared vision that remains consistent through challenging times

  • Coordinates the efforts of all disciplines (Engineering, QA, PM, and UX) throughout the tech design process

  • Ensures that the work needed to plan an initiative are ready for the team on time

Qualifications

To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Qualifications include:
  • Has prior experience performing a technical lead role and managing a small team
  • Has performed role of Senior Software Engineer building scalable, high precision software product preferrably as SaaS offerring.
  • Familiar with OWASP threats and mitigation techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Has worked with various software design principles and concepts such as patterns, algorithms, data structures, dependency injection, MV**, SOA, n-tier architecture
  • Has lead highly productive engineering teams of talented resources with high good retention
  • Has managed change effectively
  • Has mentored and coached resources
