Job Description The Senior Data Engineering Consultant will be part of ProCogia Data Engineering practice and will be focused on delivering AWS technology-based solutions for ProCogia s clients across the globe. The candidate will also be instrumental in further development and enhancement of AWS competency and in collaborating with various stakeholders and teams for innovation and growth. The Senior Data Engineering Consultant has the following responsibilities and duties: Be a member of the technical staff of ProCogia s Data Engineering practice preferably based in the Pune/Bangalore location. Provide hands-on technical architecture, design and solutions for AWS relevant technical skills on various client projects. Translate high-level Business requirements into well architected technology solutions. Collaboration with onsite and offshore teams to deliver the solutions with ProCogia quality standards. Design and implement robust, scalable, secured Data Engineering solutions for on-prem and Cloud platforms. Design, architect and implement reusable frameworks within AWS ecosystem. Proactive participation in hiring quality talents and mentorship of team members. Requirements The Senior Data Engineering Consultant should have the following skills, education and experience: Skills Required: Hands-on experience in various AWS Data Engineering and Analytics technologies like EMR, EC2, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, Redshift, Sage Maker, and IAM roles and policies. Experience with distributed computing languages (Spark, PySpark, Scala, SparklyR, etc) Hands-on experience in building Data Lakes, Data warehouses and Data mesh design approaches. Experience in working with Cloud Datawarehouses like Redshift, and Snowflake. Solid experience with Python and SQL programming. Knowledge of API-based integration and security (Restful and SOAP) Experience in Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, and Power BI. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and communication skills. Preferred: Familiar with EKS and ECS AWS services Experience building cloud formation templates for workloads. Solid Linux programming skills Experience in installation, configuration and automation of AWS tools in the cloud. Experience in other ETL tools and technologies
