UX Designer

Overview

UX Duties and responsibilities: Applying design thinking to solve customer problems Partnering with multiple stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and other designers in drafting and brainstorming initial concepts Defining interaction models, user flows, and wireframes

Leading project-specific user research efforts and evaluating user feedback

Evaluating existing products and recommending optimizations

Staying up-to-speed on relevant industry trends and monitoring competitive products

Working with analytics to make data driven recommendations

Creating low and high-fidelity prototypes Partnering with and mentoring other team members

Continue to implement and iterate design systems

Qualifications and Soft skills:

Bachelors degree with a multidisciplinary background such as psychology, computer science, information sciences, or visual design

5+ years of cumulative industry experience in various UX Design disciplines

Experience working with Product Management teams

Ability to own and follow through with large projects

Strong portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking and core skills across a variety of categories and formats

Fluency with common design software for the creation of wireframes, design mocks and prototypes i.e InVision, Figma, XD, Sketch

Agility in creating digital sketches/prototypes from lo-fi to hi-fi, to help design thinking process

Strong communicators, who can creatively and effectively communicate ideas as a story to others with

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Solid design experience for mobile and touch devices

Experience with OS frameworks, and new device categories a plus

Experience with user research, interviews, or usability testing is a plus

Familiarity with HTML and CSS concepts Familiarity with WCAG standards

A positive attitude, open mind, and a desire to collaborate with and learn from multi-disciplinary teams You demand difference and innovate down to the details

Qualifications

B.E / B. Tech / MCA / Masters in computer science or any other equivalent experience is preferred.
