Sr. Software Engineer (azure) Job in Prompt Softech

Job Description

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software
• Participate in Scrum meetings, requirements analysis
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, clean, scalable and reliable code using .NET programming languages
• Test and deploy applications and systems
  
• Client comunication and team collaboration
• Prepare documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

Technical Skills

• At least 3 years in Azure Development
• Total 5-7 years experience as a .NET Developer, implementing Enterprise scale solutions
• Hands-on strong experience in ASP.NET MVC, C#, WebAPI, JSON, MS-SQL server
• Strong understanding in OOP, Databases, Architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
• Atrong experiencein Cloud architecture (Azure ); must have worked on projects utilizing various Cloud services
• Software development in the Azure ecosystem, deployment taking care of security, load balancing, autoscaling, and automated management.
• App Service Web App
• Caching like Azure Storage or Azure Redis Cache
• Azure SQL Database
• Azure Active Directory
• Azure API Apps
• Azure Function
• CDN - content delivery network or BLOB storage
• Micro services architecture
• Understanding of Azure main services
• Application deployment on Azure, using DevOps, Taking crae of scalibility, security
• Scaling application and database globally, region wise
• Good understanding about the costs of the applications- about using CPU cycles, memory, storage and bandwidth consumption
• Good understanding of Azure core 90 services - knows why to pick one service versus another
• Setup of CI CD, Azure DevOps
• Setting up Azure data close to the users to minimize latency and maximize performance
• Scaling application globally - region wise, use of Azure Traffic Manager
• Good understanding of Cloud Design Patterns for Azure: Availability and Resilience
