Principal Engineer/sr Engineer - 5+yrs Job in Rangam Infotech Pvt. Ltd.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead product analytical activities on polymer chemistry and materials across various global projects
• Will be responsible for project management which includes managing change controls using client's in-house quality systems like TW8, TcU
• Familiarity with MDR
• Expertise in evaluation of polymeric composites, material properties and root cause analysis of failures
• Can drive materials and V&V tests in a timely manner across a number of projects
• Responsible for development and delivery of materials and mechanical testing, verification test protocols, test cases and reports
• Excellent technical English writing skills needed for developing and documenting test methods and reports
• Depth of knowledge in polymer science/materials with an ability to study and understand chemical analysis data such as, FTIR, NMR, ICP-OES, E&L and biocompatibility data along with an understanding of mechanical test methods pertaining to materials, such as, tensile testing, DSC etc.
• Possesses good problem-solving capability and can leverage own expertise as well as use inputs from others to identify and resolve critical issues

Qualifications:

• Masters’ degree (10+ years’ work exp.) in Polymer Science/Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in the field of Polymer Science with an experience in manufacturing being an added advantage.
• Clear and effective communication (written, oral) and presentation skills.
• Good stakeholder management (local and global)
• A proven track record of effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to create results within budget, timeline, and product/project deliverables

Skills:

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with TW8 and TcU
• Proficient with polymeric materials’ testing methodologies, such as, FTIR, GC-MS, HPLC, tensile testing etc.
• Solid computer skills: email, documentation and collaboration tools: e.g. WebEx, Teams, Microsoft Office products, etc.
• Self-directed, resourceful, and able to work on multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
• Very adept at grasping and solving complex problems using root-cause analysis techniques.
• Hands on experience in polymeric material’s testing is an added advantage
• Ability to objectively identify technical solutions and make sound decisions.
