Sr Engineer, Polymer 3+yrs Job in Rangam Infotech Pvt. Ltd.

Job Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for leading product R&D and analytical activities (V&V) in order to execute global, cross-functional projects pertaining to polymeric materials with minimal supervision
• Should have a good understanding of polymer science & structure-property relationships
• Will be responsible for project management which includes managing change controls using client's in-house quality systems like TW8, TcU
• Will be responsible for development and delivery of materials and mechanical testing, writing of verification test protocols, test cases and reports with minimal supervision
• Will be able to leverage own expertise as well as inputs from others to identify and resolve critical issues
• Will perform troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to material aspects of the products associated with field performance and manufacturing

Qualifications:

• Masters’ degree (5+ years’ work exp.) in Polymer Science/Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in the field of Polymer Science with an experience in manufacturing being an added advantage.
• Clear and effective communication (written, oral) and presentation skills.
• Good stakeholder management (local and global)
• A proven track record of effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with polymeric materials’ testing methodologies, such as, FTIR, GC-MS, HPLC, tensile testing etc.
• Familiarity with TW8 and TcU
• Self-directed, resourceful, and able to work on multiple projects and priorities
• Hands on experience in polymeric material’s testing is an added advantage
• Ability to objectively identify technical solutions and make sound decisions
