Database Resident Engineer Job in Rarr Technologies

Job Description : Be responsible for the process administration - Running the processes using CUSTOMERard toolset in the first instance, incidents are managed properly so that the team can continue without any delays to the work being done. Technology stack support: Oracle Database, OEM, Golden Gate, Exadata, MS SQL, ZDLRA. Ensure the availability on priority incidents and as per the business requirement including weekend to support if required. ensure monitoring of all the scope technologies/environment are done with in proactive manner Ensuring the Database Backup, OEM & Other monitoring reports publishing for all health metrics. Please bake in tech stack for Exadata / ZDLRA. Support in ZDLRA backup related issues whenever required any database support. Monitoring of DB environments through OEM, Customized scripts and any other available tools. Support for ECMR, Normal/standard CMRs should be as appropriate and within defined TATs. Critical incidents support for all supported DBs whenever required. Our critical incidents P1/P2 have TAT of 4and 8hours respectively with response SLA of max 15mins Quarterly Capacity planning for various databases for better storage manageability Provide regular support on SR, eCMR, CMR and other priority incidents. Publish documentation & SOP for DB Tasks & Setup and provide timely RCA for all incidents. Add OEM agent and apply latest patches on OMS server, agent Support, manage and troubleshoot OMS/OEM server Identify & Fix Database Tables/Indexes Fragmentations Expertise on database performance related issues and fine-tune the existing database queries. Perform regular Databases Backup Restoration Drills for DC & DRs on monthly basis. Ensure the database restoration from old backup tapes and check the integrity of the database. Quarterly PSU Patching for in scope Databases Maintain DB in healthy state via regular housekeeping, purging and Gather STATs Configure and monitor Scheduled Jobs like Crontab etc. Refresh & Build UAT environments
