Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

Product Manager for Payer Provider Government (PPG) Provider (RCM, EMR, HIS) solutions includes working with product management, product development, product support and product quality teams to drive product strategy and roadmap. In addition work closely with sales team to develop of proposals and tender responses for leads & opportunities. Product Manager would serve as a content expert for RCM, EMR or HIS, Product Documentation Improvement and Health Information Management workflow for consulting projects and new product development. Work closely with clients to coordinate and execute Voice of Customer activities for all PPG customers including product issues, enhancements and training post implementation and to ensure customers realize full benefits of the products. Support Project Managers on implementation and support of new projects. Product Management tasks would include gathering requirements for solution configuration, maintaining documentation during project implementation, assisting in test plan creation, supporting user acceptance testing, and providing end-user training and go-live support. Coach and support development to drive product strategy. Monitor developments and opportunities in the market and ensuring support for sales team with product demonstrations. Support Sales team by ensuring product demos User engagement, by providing remote and onsite presentation and product demonstrations

Experience

  • Health care experience. Payer provider experience big plus
  • Knowledge of how payer provider industry works with various use cases
  • Ability to identify gaps in current processes and flows on the Provider EMR, RCM and HIS systems

Requirements Gathering

  • Market research to identify competition
  • Conduct workshops to identify gaps in current products
  • Use design thinking approach to identify the said and unsaid needs of stakeholders in the ecosystem
  • Study RFPs to evaluate client expectations

Vision

  • Based on research conducted and information gathered define a broad level product vision
  • Create a product roadmap leading to the vision execution
  • Prioritize roadmap based on customer needs, trends and other factors
  • Should be able to think in terms of large ecosystems which drive sustainable revenue

Promotion

  • Create strategy to promote products using various marketing and communication channels
  • Be responsible for effective utilization of promotion budget
  • Create marketing collaterals
  • Should be able to present the products at various forums such as conferences, online events, client demos etc

Tracking

  • Should be able to track product quality metrics
  • Should be able to device feedback mechanism for products which provide a continuous feedback mechanism for product improvement
  • Define the key product KPIs that should be measured to ensure improved customer experience

Execution

  • Should have an opinion on user experience and how it can be improved in short and long term
  • Should have a keen eye for Product User Experience
  • Attention to detail is of utmost importance
  • Partner with engineering, design, legal, customer support, and other functions to execute on the product road map.

Commercial

  • Design multiple pricing models keeping in mind needs of different customers but still keeping high margins
