Job Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our cutting-edge development team as it grows. We want someone who is comfortable asking why? The ideal candidate is a divergent thinker who understands industry best practices and has experience with automated testing. They are a team player possessing good analytical as well as technical skills. They are able to communicate and understand the logic behind technical decisions to non-tech stakeholders. They must be comfortable working in an agile environment and have the ability to take the wheel when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements
  • Interact with the clients to understand the requirements.
  • Work closely with project managers, other developers, systems architects, and sales and marketing professionals
  • Prepare and execute test plans
  • Create a clear proof of tests documents for reference and reporting
  • Recommend and execute improvements
  • Verify and deploy programs and systems

Requirements

  • A Bachelor s / Master s Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology
  • 2-3 years software testing experience
  • Must have Manual and API Testing knowledge
  • Must have experience in Functional Testing, Smoke , Regression and API Testing
  • Must have experience in creating Test plan and Test Strategy
  • A thorough understanding of operating systems, and data structures
  • An in-depth understanding of the Internet, Cloud Computing & Services, and REST APIs
  • Must have experience with Postman
  • Must know how to create collections and tests
  • Experience in Automation Testing with any programming language will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with the Qradar app / Splunk app and add on will be an advantage.
  • A meticulous and organized approach to work
  • A logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
  • A thorough, detail-oriented work style
