About the Role:

We are looking for a Jr. Sales Engineer with a strong interest in Industrial Automation and a proven track record of achieving sales booking goals. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for generating new business through sales and marketing activities, specifically in the Vadodara and Bharuch regions. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in selling automation hardware and software solutions, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFD (Variable Frequency Drives), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Generation:
    • Drive sales through proactive marketing and sales activities. Focus on generating new business opportunities in the assigned region.
  • Sales of Industrial Automation Solutions:
    • Sell automation solutions based on industrial automation hardware and software products and services. This includes PLC, VFD, SCADA, HMI, and other OEM products.
  • Customer Presentations:
    • Conduct customer presentations at all levels of the customer s organization to effectively communicate the value of automation solutions.
  • New Customer Development:
    • Develop new customers, primarily within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and OEM sectors.
  • Automation Project Selling:
    • Engage in DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and PLC automation project sales, identifying the best solutions for clients.
  • Strategic Relationships:
    • Identify, cultivate, and maintain strategic relationships at all levels within customer organizations, fostering long-term business growth.
  • Maximize Customer Profitability:
    • Sell automation solutions designed to increase customer profitability and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration with OEM & Process EPC:
    • Work closely with OEMs and Process EPCs to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Leverage knowledge of IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things), Industry 4.0, and Digitization to offer state-of-the-art automation solutions that meet customer needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Diploma or Bachelors in Electronics, Instrumentation & Control (IC), or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience:
    • 0 to 4 years of experience in Industrial Automation Sales or a related field. Fresh graduates with a passion for sales and automation are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of PLC, VFD, SCADA, HMI, and OEM systems is essential. Experience with automation project selling, specifically DCS and PLC, will be an added advantage.
  • Industry Awareness:
    • Familiarity with IIOT, Industry 4.0, and Digitization is preferred. Strong understanding of industrial automation trends is a plus.
  • Sales & Communication Skills:
    • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to effectively present technical products and solutions to customers.
  • Self-Motivation:
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving sales goals and maintaining a positive attitude.
