The Job:

• Write content that real humans find engaging, interesting, and useful. Users first, search engines next.
• Develop product knowledge and understand the nuances of communicating for a technology brand.
• Write clean, and easy to understand copy tailored for different channels and target audience.
• Understand the beauty of both long-form and short-form content, and its place in the world. There is an audience for The Newyorker, and there is an audience for Twitter - it is not about the length, it is about the quality of writing.
• Keep up with the latest content trends, and be quick to implement new ideas and measure them.
• Collaborate with the SEO team, and gain a good-enough understanding of inbound tactics to reach the right audience.
• Repurpose content into multiple assets for various channels to maximize reach.
• Be curious about how your content is performing. Monitor performance and make consistent improvements across blogs, social media posts, case studies, etc.
• Align with the company s goals, and collaborate seamlessly with other functional teams to enable them with world-class content.

The Human:

• You are a great listener, and you have a knack for asking the right questions to frame the right story
• You are optimistic, easy-to-work with, and good at setting the right expectations and boundaries
• You are good at prioritizing, planning, and asking for help whenever you need it
• You have a Bachelor s degree in the relevant field
• You have worked for a technology company developing content for 4 years or more
• You are familiar with the SaaS and API world, or atleast have an inclination to quickly learn and understand our offerings
• You have written high performing blogs, articles or social posts previously. Bonus points if you are a published author at Medium or any other community publication
• You love storytelling, words are how you frame your thoughts, and you are obsessed with punctuation and grammar
