Skill:Senior Software Engineer - Backend Engineer Exp: 6+yrs Location: Remote/Chennai Job Description: Own a functional area from product conceptualization to realization working with product management Drive the technical roadmap focusing more on supporting the platform with generic components and own metrics like product reliability, performance and availability Design and solution for well defined systems without supervision Be the go-to person within the team for a specific domain or knowledge area. [Support Culture] Lead across teams with cross functional stakeholders Mentor and guide team members on everything from structured problem solving to development of best practices Have a strong impact in hiring and improving culture within the team Be accountable for onboarding team members [ Deliver High-Quality Software] Break down large projects and tasks into components while identifying dependencies, priorities, plans for iterations and feature creep Provide estimates to supporting planning Communicate with stakeholders in an effective and timely fashion and are capable of unblocking you team members and yourself and other teams. Complete deliverables on-time and ensure functional correctness and completeness with unit-tests and integration tests Contribute to non-functional aspects without supervision Be accountable for quality of deliverables and artifacts in adherence to defined processes for the entire team. What you ll need: At least 8-years of relevant software development experience Deep expertise in any programming language with experience developing in Python and FastAPI Experience with event- driven architecture and CI/CD is highly desirable Substantial experience in building complex and scalable solutions Strong object oriented design skills, ability to apply design patterns, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces
