Job Summary
Minimum of eight years? experience in IT infrastructure
Minimum five years? experience in system administration with a significant security element
A solid working knowledge of networking technology and protocols, including the OSI Model, TCP/IP, and related protocols and standards
Experience as a system Windows administrator, Active Directory/LDAP, VMWare or other virtualization system, Storage arrays, SAN fabric, or Dell hardware is a plus
Familiarity with Windows, UNIX and Linux Operating Systems and associated protocols and system calls with the ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in at least one of these areas
Expertise with automating complex tasks via scripting languages (Perl, PowerShell, Python, etc..) and/or a configuration management solution is a plus
Hands on experience with API calls and SQL queries is a plus
Experience administrating Linux server and applications in an Active Directory environment is a plus
Experience with system automation tools like Saltstack, Chef, Ansible or similar tools is a plus
Experience working in a globally dispersed 24x7 operating environment with strict change controls
Ability to work on multiple programs simultaneously, with strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond to emergencies, organize and schedule work effectively
Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, in a professional environment to executive level and junior level personnel
Ability to work and make objective decisions independently
Ability to be proactive and demonstrate expert level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiar with ITSM and ITIL and able to adopt associated processes
Familiar with the MS Office tool suite.
Excellent written and oral communications skills and be able to appropriately present highly technical material to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to multitask and prioritize work
Ability to travel internationally as required
