Job Summary
Tech skills / experience:
3 5 years of relevant experience in L1 technical customer support (voice and email), with a strong customer interaction experience
Strong familiarity with Windows / Unix/Linux environments, including basic scripting
Exposure to basic SQL
Basic knowledge of deployments of applications (on IIS/Weblogic etc)
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Engineering (or related technical discipline)
Expertise working with Microsoft Excel, Strong documentation skills
Familiarity with Web applications and Windows applications created in .Net
Nice to have
Knowing java technologies is an added advantage
Deployment tools
Batch file creation to automate the process

Behaviour/soft skills:
Good communication skills (ability to listen, explain, summarize, collaborate with multiple teams, track actions till closure)
There could be shift requirements (typically 2 shifts to ensure coverage between 7 am to 11 pm); flexibility of resources to cover morning or afternoon shift is necessary

Roles and responsibilities
o L1 Support Technical Support
System Monitoring based on business requirement
BOD & EOD activities
Deployment based on Vendor Configuration
Follow up based Vulnerability Understanding
troubleshooting
Service request closures
Follow up Backup and Restoration (Database/ application/data files etc)
Incident monitoring and quick resolution as per SLA
