Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes to meet new and existing product s needs.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Skill & Experience
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Outstanding Communication skills.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases.
- Take initiative and work independently.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Generate logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Effectively report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Follow-through and conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
