JD : Senior Computer Vision Engineer, Bangalore
We are hiring for a creative and highly motivated senior software engineer with expertise in Computer Vision for our Tegra Solutions Engineering team to help us develop the next generation Autonomous Vehicles.
We are a leading artificial intelligence computing company and are paving the way with innovations in gaming, visualization, supercomputing and self-driving cars. Gives automakers, tier-1 suppliers, automotive research institutions, and start-ups the power and flexibility to develop and deploy breakthrough artificial intelligence systems for self-driving vehicles. Our unified computing architecture enables training deep neural networks in the data center, and then seamlessly run them on the DRIVE platform inside the vehicle. Today, we are working with over 80 partners that are using our platform in the development of autonomous cars, trucks, shuttles and taxis.
What you ll be doing:
Architect, Design and Build solutions using Computer Vision and Image Processing techniques for Autonomous Vehicle use cases.
Benchmark and Tune the Computer Vison Algorithms and the Harware Accelerators for performance and quality KPIs.
Optimize the Vision Algorithms to efficiently run on Hardware Accelerators and GPU.
Collaborate with Customers for Requirements Capturing and Architecture definition.
Work closely with diverse groups across and contribute towards overall Autonomous Vehicles Architecture taking Safety into consideration.
What we need to see:
BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of working on Image Processing and Computer Vision Algorithms used for Object Detection, Tracking, Localization and Classification.
Deep understanding of principles of Camera Sensors.
Solid understanding of computer architecture, operating system fundamentals.
Strong Data structures and Algorithms know-how with Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
Hands-on experience in programming using parallel processing models like SIMD.
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with ISO26262 Software Certification or ASPICE.
Knowledge of GPU or parallel computing platforms like CUDA.
Experience with ARM CPU architecture and hardware considerations (memory controllers, buses, caches, etc.).
Understanding of principles of RADARs and LiDARS.
Flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multinational, multi-time-zone corporate environment.
