Job Summary Qualifications and Experience:
  • BE /BTech/MTech in Civil Engineering.
  • Candidates must 6 - 8 years relevant experience.
  • Should have sound knowledge of Software such as STAAS Pro, TEKLA, AutoCAD.
  • Having good understanding of Design Standards such as ASCE, IS, EN.
  • Structural engineering experience in design of steel structures around Gas or steam turbines like staircases, enclosures, big structures like airports etc.
  • Experience of structure analysis and design using finite element methods, ideally with commercially available design software s.
Skills Requirement:
  • Able to solve problems, work to agreed deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Should have worked in the civil structural industry.
  • Should have interacted with global customers.
  • Expert experience in project management.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Accountabilities:
  • To design, analysis steel structures using software tools like STAAD Pro and review design against followed standards of ASCE (US), IS (Indian), EN (European).
  • To provide design solution to optimize the structure.
  • Carry out technical reviews at various stages of design and liaison with client for approval.
  • Modelling and detailing of parts using commercial software s such as TEKLA, Inventor
  • To execute project efficiently and maintaining quality.
  • Prepare technical reports, designs, and construction/assembly drawings.
  • Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
  • To guide, train and lead team of engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently analyse and achieve issue resolution using standard engineering techniques & engineering calculations.
