What Youll Do:

As a Pre-sales Solution Architect, you will liaise closely with our Account/BD/Product Sales Specialists in a pre-sales technical role

  • showcasing product solutions & Service Offerings
  • setting up demonstrations / POC
  • explaining features and benefits to customers/understand customers business/technical requirements.
  • Provide solution architecture to cater to customer requirements.
  • Provide inputs to the delivery teams on the solution architecture and how to implement the solution

In addition to technological aptitude, and the ability to learn quickly and stay current, the role requires interpersonal, presentation and troubleshooting skills & evoke passion and confidence within the team. The role will have technical Account Management responsibility for a given set of customer accounts. The role requires to stay up to date on relevant Cybersecurity competitive solutions, products, and services. Solution Architect will also assist with the development of formal technical and commercial proposals (Cost of delivery) that is service effort, BOM/BOQ and designing for assigned opportunities and actively participate as a specialist on the assigned Virtual Team.

The role will provide consultative support in the technical areas to other Engineers who deploy the solutions.

Role Expectations:

  • A passionate and performing individual who works for a collaborative experience for our client, and who is passionate about new Cybersecurity technologies.
  • It is expected that the candidate should have BE/B. Tech (EE/CS) degree or equivalent with at least 12-15 years with related experience in designing cybersecurity solutions in network products like VPN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, web application security products, data protection products, etc. and related technical support services.
  • Good working knowledge of a wide range of security-related technologies; such as DLP, NAC, IDS\IPS, SIEM, Kerberos, encryption and hashing concepts, TACACS, PKI, web proxies, vulnerability assessment, CASB, MFA/SSO, etc.
  • Should have at least 3 years of recent experience in Pre-sales.

Should be Familiar with:

  • Cyber-related laws, standards, and guidance
  • Cloud technologies, capabilities, security standards, and deployment models
  • Should have knowledge on baseline System Engineer skills and in-depth knowledge and experience in at least one of these architectures Security or Router/Switch/Wireless, VPN/Firewall, Data security, Application security, SIEM
  • Should possess knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria, and services.
  • Should also have competitive knowledge (in their area of specialization) including solution, technology, and product offerings.
  • We should be able to understand and converse about the company, competitors, technologies, solutions, product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Should have excellent written, verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills for effective consultative selling. (Expertise in Word/PPT/Visio, etc. Productivity tools)
  • Ability to work effectively, contribute as a team member and assume a leadership role.
