Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for system/mechanism design,based on customer requirement for automotive and non-automotive applications.
• Proven experience using CAD software; knowledge of Creo 4.0/7.0, Catia & Auto Cad is a plus
• Hands on experience in design and development of sheet metal & plastic components.
• Knowledge on DFA,DFM,DFMEA &PPAP.
• Knowledge on various manufacturing process and fabrication process.
• Selection of material based on standards & functionality of the product.
• Develop and build prototype and run tests to measure their level of function.
• Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards.
• Calculate cost estimates for final product.
• Solving complex problems& strong knowledge in engineering fundamentals.
• Creating reports and documentation.
• Liaising with suppliers& customers.
• Knowledge on PLM, GD&T & APQP.
• Design and Manufacturing of fixtures as per test requirement.
