In this role, you will get to:

  • Be the Expert: Design and implement NetApp storage systems, including installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning; upgrade and maintain switches; create and maintain system scripts and programs to support the operations of the storage systems
  • Be the Point of Contact: Resolve basic level 2 and some level 3 issues in a storage environment
  • Enable and Guide: Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests; implement and maintain operational documentation and procedures
  • Enable the workforce: Coordinate and/or perform remote fixes operational tasks on storage; implement file backups and configure systems and applications; remotely troubleshoot issues relating to hardware and software
  • Keep management updated: Relay important information in the form of timely and accurate reports; issue the status of the daily operation report and project status reports as required
  • Take the Lead: Create and maintain system scripts and programs to support the operations of the storage systems; diagnose and troubleshoot NetApp storage software issues; reproduce issues by re-creating scenarios in a lab environment; Diagnose and troubleshoot TCP/IP networking issues

Qualifications:

Our most successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • Experience in SAN storage provisioning, LUN masking, and zoning all other daily operational tasks on storage, along with expertise in Storage capacity planning, performance analysis, monitoring, reporting
  • Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the following:
    • ONTAP 7-mode and C- Mode
    • iSCSI/NFS/CIFS/SAN technologies
    • Snapmirror, Snap Vault
    • NetApp FAS series (7 & C Mode) and E series advanced concepts of Data ONTAP
  • Experience/knowledge of Storage Domain, NAS, SAN, Storage, System Administration, NetApp Performance Tuning, Storage Administration, Performance Monitoring, Disk fault, Experience in Backup technology
  • Experience in Windows Servers, VMware
  • Strong knowledge of Clustering and High Availability
  • Expertise in Configuring and troubleshooting snap mirror, snap vault
  • In-depth expertise on troubleshooting CIFS and NFS share/ access issues
  • Experience in ServiceNow ticketing tools
  • Ability to provide Technical Support 24x7 on-call/email/chat support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

In this role, you will get to:

Be the Expert: Troubleshoot hardware & accurately determine fixes; research issues and resolves technical problems; Complete technical and special projects as assigned.

Be the Point of Contact: Resolve basic level 1 requests and issues in a Mac OS and Windows environments

Enable and Guide: Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests; implement and maintain operational documentation and procedures

Enable the workforce: Coordinate and/or perform remote fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications; remotely troubleshoot issues relating to hardware and software (typically Mac OS, Apple, Google for Work, Cisco Meraki, Dropbox, etc.)

Keep management updated: Relay important information in the form of timely and accurate reports; issue the status of the daily operation report and project status reports as required

Our most successful candidates will have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
  • Experience in Apple hardware, Mac OS, Google (G-Suite), and Windows
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
  • College degree from an accredited four-year institution or relevant technical experience
  • Previous customer support, sales, or technology experience a plus
  • Ability to be persistent in working through challenges and doing whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Ability to be creative and resourceful in finding effective solutions to problems and situations
  • Strong analytical skills: be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements
  • Pro-active ability in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members; work as a team-player
  • Willing to work for 24/7 shift
