Job Description:Setting up and managing the site QC Lab.
Stage wise implementation of quality as per contract specifications.
Will be responsible to oversee work for quality assurance.
Assist architect in construction and for quality assurance
Prepare scope of work, cost estimate, bid packages and contract signing.
Manage work with different stakeholders involved in project construction work.
Prompt reporting to management group by submitting key reports
Should have minimum 3+ year experience in construction.
Should have sound knowledge of materials and means of construction.
Should have excellent spoken and written communication skills.
A proven record in man management, project development, management and Implementation
Strong visionary with proven leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
QMS, monitor, conduct of internal audits as per schedule and product quality rating.
Conduct MRM s in an effective manner with focus on quality objectives and processes.
Report on effectiveness of QMS in MRM and ensure improved results, escalate quality issues to Head-HQ.
Coordinate for timely disposal of non-conformity reports, Non-conformity analysis and prepare root cause analysis.
Knowledge of General Methodology of constructions like marking, checks for alignments, verticality, sequence of construction of concreting works, Block work constructions, Plastering works, etc.
Familiar with test procedure and specification as per standard.
Knowledge of RMC / Batching Plant experience & ISO requirements.
To check for calibration of instruments and checking material testing certificates from the supplying agencies.
Knowledge of good construction practices, Problem solving capability, Understanding root cause, and taking corrective & Preventive Measures,
carrying out the rectification work as per approved methodology.
Timely submission of daily/ monthly report on quality.
Plan and perform incoming and in process inspection and audit.
Interaction with Clients, Internal & external Communications, Implementation of norms as laid down by the organization.
Training to Engineers, Foremen, Supervisors, etc. on quality aspect of constructions on routine basis.
Setting out, leveling and surveying the site.
Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant.
Agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
Managing, monitoring and interpreting as per the contract supplied by the client or architect.
