Responsibilities Responsible to lead and drive a team of engineers for design development and improvement of Special Purpose machinery, to the plant and execution of all new projects as per agreed APQP timelines End to end responsible for capturing the voice of Customers and all stakeholder requirements of the product and then assess review and correct machine design to meet the expectations Conducting design reviews effectively resulting reliable equipment and less rejections Train and Coach the team to build the M.E capability and competency. Improve the process to reduce CoPQ and improve OEE, by quality, up-time and productivity Identify Automation and Cost Saving opportunities and able to deliver result Desired Candidate Profile Technical Degree B.E Mechanical Knowledge in PLC control would be an added advantage 8+ years of experience working working in medium or large matrix organizations. Hands on Experience in designing , building and trouble shooting of header assembly machines, fast and precision Automation machines for Automotive industry. Experience in Header connector manufacturing industry preferable Mechanical and Pneumatic systems trouble shooting skills Updated knowledge on statistical process control systems and EOL testing.
