What you ll be doing:

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase organic search traffic and improve search engine rankings for our eCommerce website.
• Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-potential keywords and optimize website content accordingly.
• Perform on-page optimization by optimizing meta tags, headings, URLs, and other on-page elements to enhance website visibility and relevance.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure the production of high-quality, SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword strategies.
• Manage off-page optimization efforts, including link building, social media engagement, influencer partnerships, and other strategies to improve website authority and rankings.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, and provide regular reports on key SEO metrics and progress.
• Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues affecting search engine crawlability, indexing, and ranking.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and eCommerce to ensure our website remains competitive and optimized.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketing teams, to implement SEO recommendations and optimize website performance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SEO team members, fostering their growth and development.

What you ll bring:

• Proven experience as an SEO Lead or similar role, specifically in the eCommerce domain.
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of SEO, including on-page optimization, off-page optimization, technical SEO, and non-technical SEO.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, product pages, and related SEO considerations.
• Proficiency in using SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, and others.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website development principles.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate SEO strategies and recommendations.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in SEO and eCommerce.
