The Director of Business Development a critical role at TechGenies. It is an opportunity for a sales leader to scale a fast-growth tech services company in building a profitable business that is solving real talent shortage problems.As our first dedicated Sales Professional, you will be responsible for setting our overall sales and revenue strategy while working closely with the rest of management team to ensure that we achieve our goals by aligning strategy.You will be employed by the Company in the position of Director of Business Development, reporting to the CEO.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage all sales, marketing, and business development channels and programs for TechGenies. Manage all aspects of the sales and marketing processes, including; lead generation, prospecting, scheduling pitch meetings, negotiating and closing sales
  • Recruit, hire, manage, develop, and motivate sales & marketing resources as the company grows and expands.
  • Oversee the development of indirect sales channels through partnership programs targeting IT recruiting, and other similar firms
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials and programs that promote TechGenies offerings to various target markets
  • Responsible for review, analysis, forecast and execution of sales targets, working closely with the CEO and other executive staff
  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders from other TechGenies/Partner international offices
  • Act as the direct and indirect sales resources for the company until other resources are hired.
  • Prospect and qualify business opportunities
  • Identify high-value prospects to develop sales strategy around
  • Expand and build new business by making cold calls and networking
  • Maintain accounts, build client relationships, and gain referrals
  • Understand, interpret and find solutions for complex customer needs and strategies

Education, Skills, and Competencies

  • Requires prior experience in Software Development Sales or IT Staffing Sales
  • Requires a Bachelor s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management
  • 5+ years of experience in IT recruiting
  • Strong IT aptitude
  • Excel in a Consultative sales environment,
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a high sense of urgency
  • A proven track record of success
  • Self-Starter - ability to execute and implement change
  • Critical Thinking: strategic and highly analytical
  • Goal Oriented naturally motivated to reach goals
