Job Description

  • Work with Global PhV functions to design an efficient and compliant PhV unit in Teva India
  • Experience in handling a team size of 10-15 people
  • Coordinate and support recruitment process to bring the right talents to Teva
  • Be familiar with Teva Global PhV system and procedures
  • Coordinate on-boarding and training of the staff
  • Support staff development and build retention plans
  • Assure business continuity
  • Negotiate 3rd party contracts (eg. service providers agreements) related to PhV activities, as required
  • Liaise with other Teva units in India and local leadership to make sure the PhV team gets integrated into local organisation
  • Participate & represent PhV in Teva India R&D management meetings
  • Provide expert input to PhV Leadership Team to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and procedures
  • Coordinate annual PhV refresher training for all Teva employees in India and implement PhV campaigns at the local sites
  • Budget planning and oversight
  • Site level team labor compliances (to be a signatory or signing off on labor compliances and also on certain payroll items)
  • Initiate site level team engagement activities

Qualifications

  • University degree in life sciences (eg. pharmacy, pharmacology, MD, dental medicine, veterinary medicine or similar)
  • Minimum 10 -14 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, familiar with case operations, literature searches and signal management
