Software Engineer - Java Technical Specialist Job in Tietoevry

With us you will be responsible for
Application Maintenance & Development
Understanding the requirements & estimating the efforts for the same
Debugging and analysis of problem reported
Understanding the issue and providing the solution to Customer, Joining Triage Calls
Providing quick fixes/workarounds

Working closely with Solution Consultants (L2 team)
Working with programmers, testers and other specialists

Your contribution and background

5 to 8 years of working experience as a Java developer. Excellent analytical and programming skills, display an ability to deal with complexity.

Technical skills

Java, JSP and Servlets
Application server: Tomcat/TomEE, WebSphere and WebLogic.
Spring (IOC) Framework,

* Hibernate & Web services (SOAP and REST)
Junit

Basic Linux commands

Scheduler (Quartz)

Hands on with XML/XSD

Database (DB2 and oracle preferred), MySQL

Basics of MQ (IBM)

Eclipse, JIRA, SVN, Maven, GIT/Gerrit (preferred)

Jenkins, continuous integration frameworks

Domain experience and knowledge in the following Banking areas will be additional advantage
Basic Accounting
Managementof Customer, Accounting and Financial data
Liquidity Management
Payments
Virtual Account Management
