Team Lead - Backend Job in Toppr Technologies Pvt Ltd

ABOUT THE ROLE

Toppr is looking for a smart, collaborative, and hard-working Lead Backend Engineer. As a lead backend engineer, youll come in and lay the groundwork for how engineering is practised at Toppr. Youll assess the technical feasibility of newly-created product ideas and propose accurate solutions throughout the design and development phase. Youll evaluate different systems for use in production and drive adoption of key technological changes. Youll lead a team of motivated and experienced engineers and enable them to provide a seamless learning experience to our customers. HOW YOULL RAMP

In First Week...

• Understand Topprs journey, its values and mission.
• Spend time with the Technology, Product, HR, and Sales teams to get up-to-speed on Topprs offering, its competition, and future outlook.

By Day 30

• Work with web, mobile, and embedded software engineers to design and build clean, usable APIs to power Toppr services.
• Build production-ready backend services to support new and existing product initiatives.

By Day 90

• Help define and build the next generation of the Toppr product/platform.
• Work on scaling various pieces of infrastructure to support the changing product roadmap.
• Act as a mentor to your team members and nurture them to grow to the next level.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of professional production development experience with leading-edge server and database technologies (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Scala, Spring Boot, MySQL, and NoSQL databases).

KEY SKILLS

• Strong computer system analysis and design skills in current methodologies and patterns Experience with professional production cloud (AWS preferred).
• Experience with RESTful Services and APIs.
